We were locked down just as we were due to perform in the Brighton Fringe 2021.
Now retold as dark truths have come to light since the first telling - still hilarious and still tragic and always starring the laundry..
Her father left when she was two years old
and Tracy Savage has been searching for him ever since. But has she been looking for him in all the wrong places - in the arms of questionable men, at the bottom of a bottle, in the beautiful surroundings of Southern France?
Every Wrong Direction is Tracy's story, sharing her struggles with motherhood, mental health, music and laundry in her part hilarious, part tragic and completely honest account of growing up with an absent father and the continuing often confusing legacies that our parents leave us all. The story is brilliantly told causing us all to look inside and ask ourselves - Do we choose repeating patterns or do we break the mould? And should we be cautious of manifesting our dreams?
The show has been many years in conception. The stories within the story are all true, and have been formulating and evolving over fifty years.
That’s all we are in the end, isn’t it…stories? It’s up to us how we retell them, both to ourselves and to each other.
