Every Wrong Direction CIC is not a therapy service, crisis service or counselling provider. Our work is creative, reflective and community-focused. Any involvement from therapeutic or trauma-informed practitioners would support safe practice, ethical thinking, signposting, training or collaboration rather than clinical treatment.

Every Wrong Direction CIC is beginning to build a network of artists, facilitators and trauma-informed practitioners interested in performance, storytelling, emotional literacy and socially engaged creative work.

We would like to hear from performers, writers, spoken word artists, singer/songwriters and theatre-makers with one or two person shows exploring difficult human realities such as mental health, addiction, family systems, shame, grief, identity, recovery, social exclusion, abuse, survival, connection or breaking cycles of harm.

We are also interested in hearing from trauma-informed counsellors, therapists, facilitators and practitioners who may be able to advise, collaborate, support safeguarding thinking or help ensure the work remains emotionally safe, ethical and appropriately held.

As the CIC develops, we may be looking for collaborators for performances, workshops, facilitated discussions, pilot projects, community programmes, training, safeguarding advice and creative development.

If your work aligns with the CIC’s aims, please contact us with a short introduction, your relevant experience, links to your work if available and the kind of collaboration you are interested in.
